Pre-School Program
Infants
Infants first year of experiences are crucial to healthy brain and development. We give your infant lots of individual attention and interaction to promote basic cognitive and social skills. Singing, reading and talking are just some of the activities we put into practice to support development throughout this vital stage. Our goal is to give your infant a premium start in their growth and development.

One Year Olds

It’s a new world for toddlers, they begin to walk, to talk and begin to develop friendships with each other. Toddlers learn through sensory experiences that increases their cognitive, language, motor and social skills. They practice the importance of sharing and cooperating through group play and turn ideas into words and phrases to better express themselves.  When children use their words and thoughts to interact with others at this stage, they start to develop friendships and gain confidence. It is important for children to express themselves creatively; we encourage your child to develop their unique skills and interests through play. We sing, read and talk to our toddlers, also we offer a variety of activities geared to peak your child’s interest.

Two Year Olds
Two year olds are curious about the world around them. They are busy exploring their environment and learning to communicate their thoughts. While they begin to exercise their independence, they are also gaining a better understanding of group play. Our caring teachers keep small hands busy and young minds engaged through activities designed specifically for this age group, by focusing on both education fundamentals and social skills. Our experienced teachers provide an outlet for creative expression, your child will build skills and confidence through games, songs, movement and art. By encouraging child-directed play, we ensure that your child develops at his or her own pace. Sharing, cooperating and taking turns teaches your child the importance of being a team player.

Three Year Olds
The world opens up in new ways for preschooler's as they improve their coordination, learn complex games, and begin to interact more with their friends. Your preschooler will learn by doing strengthen his or her cognitive skills with plenty of hands-on activities. Our curriculum is structured into theme-based units that encourage children to develop their skills and confidence. Each unit integrates language, math, science, creative arts, music, motor skills and social development.

Four Year Olds
At our centers, we want children to feel at home and are in a safe environment they know and love. This makes learning more effective and fun. Our 4 year old program is designed to start your child off right and be success when entering Kindergarten. Our teachers provide opportunities to explore, question, communicate and create in a fun and supportive environment with activities that are tailored to meet your child's individual needs.

Pre-K 5 Year Olds
Middlebrook Playschool is proud of our Pre-K classroom for 5 year olds that will not be going to Kindergarten this year. The children will be educated with Handwriting without Tears program "Get Set for School" curriculum that is developmentally appropriate for children ages 4-5 by a cerified K-5th grade teachers. This was a very successful program this year and look forward to many more years with this class.

Ms. Sandy will provide activities presented throughtout the curricula focus on particular themes, introduction of various concepts and include many subject areas: reading, social studies, math, science and physical education. Participation in the various activities allows children to understand and retain the newly discovered information.

We are very excited about our classroom and invite you to come by our school for a visit.
